Jeannie Gilfix, MSW, LICSW

Jeannie is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who works with children, teens, adults and families. Jeannie has a long history of working with clients who are struggling with symptoms of anxiety and depression, autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorders, adoption-related issues, coping with family change, or history of trauma and abuse. Jeannie works from a strength-based perspective, using a variety of therapeutic interventions to enhance clients' coping strategies. These include relationship-based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, self-regulation and supportive nervous sytem strategies, and play therapy to help clients understand their needs, maximize their strengths, and manage stress. Jeannie strives to support healthy parent-child relationships, with a strong understanding of attachment and developmental needs.

Deirdre is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Deirdre provides therapy to children, teens, adults and families. Deirdre has worked with children of all ages dealing with a variety of issues including, anxiety and depression, adjustment issues, developmental disorders (Autism Spectrum Disorders), attachment disorders and issues of trauma and abuse. Deirdre has worked for many years with children and families involved in the foster care and adoption systems. Deirdre uses a variety of approaches to engage children and families and to help promote and support positive relationships.

Jen is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Jen provides services to children, teens, and families. Jen has a long history of working with children and teens struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, and trauma, including those with significant behavioral concerns. Jen uses a variety of treatment strategies, with a focus on a strengths-based, relational model of change. Jen utilizes play therapy and attachment-based therapies, as well as child/parent psychotherapy with children and families who have experienced trauma or disruption.

Helga is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Parent Educator and Certified Family Life Educator and has provided therapy to children (pre-school and school age), teens, and adults. Her specialties included relationship/couple therapy, family therapy and play therapy. Helga has recently retired and serves as a practice consultant.
